What is a direct or drop shipment?

Direct shipment involves the manufacturer or vendor shipping the ordered product directly to the end-user, bypassing any intermediate warehousing or handling by the distributor.

How Does it Work?

1. Order Placement: When a customer places an order with Mercedes Scientific for an item available through drop or direct shipment, we facilitate the purchase order.

2. Transfer of Order Details: Mercedes Scientific transfers the order details, including shipping information, directly to the manufacturer or vendor responsible for fulfilling the order.

3. Shipping from Manufacturer/Vendor: The manufacturer or vendor then processes the order, packs the product, and arranges for its direct shipment to the designated "ship to" location on the order.

4. Tracking and Communication: Throughout the process, both the distributor and end-user can keep track of the order's status. The manufacturer or vendor may also provides shipping details to Mercedes Scientific and we update the order status accordingly.
